Welcome to the Resource Guide – Fall 2026 CFC!

Background

The Guidance Dialogues Resource Guide is a resource for guidance counsellors during the Guidance Dialogues and throughout the school year.

Each university and affiliate has 2 pages in the Resource Guide. Bilingual universities have equivalent space for French text.

The Quick Compare Tool on the OUInfo website is a companion to the Resource Guide, allowing counsellors to compare information across universities.

Guidance Dialogues Resource Guide – Spring 2026

Instructions

  1. Review the OUAC CFC Guide.
  2. Download your university’s Word document(s).
  3. Review and update your university’s information for the upcoming (2027) cycle.
    • Please do not use Google Docs to edit your document(s).
    • Please leave the track changes function turned on in the document(s).
    • Do not adjust the font size, styles or margins to fit more text.
    • Leave the Notes section on the second page blank so that counsellors can write notes if they choose to print the Guide.
    • Indicate any changes needed for your university’s Quick Compare Tool information. The OUAC Editor will input your changes in OUInfo.
      • Note: The OUInfo site is undergoing a refresh, and will launch on August 4. The site will look different, but your content will be the same.
  4. Submit your updated Word document(s) and university logo to [email protected] by the applicable deadline.
    • Logo specs: 600 x 300 pixels (300 dpi); .png file preferred.
    • If you do not send an updated logo, the same logo will be used as in the spring Resource Guide.

The Resource Guide is available as a public document on the Guidance website. While the Guidance website is geared towards guidance counsellors, be aware that any contact information you share in the Resource Guide may be accessed by applicants and others.
